The aspens tower above
out-growing scars of the past,
learning and growing
witnessing far and wide, the truth
the view of the path below
glowing gold in celebration
playful in the light of the sun.
Connected to the earth and to each other.
So too, the Wanderer seeks and is seen, entwined with all that is alive.
Look at the immensity of the mountains
their great mass
the intricacy of the passes and ridges and peaks and valleys
exuding strength, creating
endless possibilities to explore and wonder
Summit views, valley immersions
a majestic home.
So too the Wanderer is on the path, lost in visions and depths, and found.
The creatures full of action and purpose
soar, scurry, creep, crawl, and swim.
embracing elements
satisfying needs
listening, speaking, moving
digging, building, eating, mating, killing, birthing
Instinct trumps rules.
So too the Wanderer is driven to action, to nourish the soul and make love to essence.
The jungle buzzes with intense vibration of life
falling to decay, recycling back to life
the rain drums the surface of the blue lake
each drop making a difference to the depths
and settling into a true glass mirror
Like the jazz of weather whirling through the rhythm of seasons, the Wild Wanderer finds a home in nature and always returns.
